Getting Down to Business!

Thanks to Deedee Wills on TpT, my Work on Writing area is done!! (minus a cute heading for the area and my colors above it!)  I absolutely LOVE how it came out!!!  I just need to print the different kinds of paper they can write on and I will worry about painting this wall next year :)  Here is what it looks like!!

I am heading back in tomorrow to tackle the countertops.  Hopefully, after that, I can start organizing around my desk area.  I am very overwhelmed with how much I have to go through, but it will get done and I can't wait to post more pictures!!

I want to thank the few people that started following me on Bloglovin!!  Thank you so much for giving me a chance!  I am very new at this and hopefully can share some new ideas this year :)  Or at least show how I am using all of your ideas in my classroom!!

More Room Pictures!

I am getting there...slowly, but surely!  I emptied about 10 boxes yesterday and threw away at least 7 bags of trash!!  I went through many files and started hanging stuff on the walls.  Here are a few pictures of what I did!

This will be where I take my guided reading groups.  The black board will be my Word Wall.  I can't find my cute letters I found on TPT last year :(  Hopefully they are in one of the boxes I haven't opened yet!

This is my children's tables and housekeeping to the left.  As you can see, I still have  A LOT to go through in the bottom of the closets!!

This is my Library Area.  I hope they love the bench I made last year!  Those shelves will be full of books by September!

And this is my Work on Writing Area!  I can't wait for my Amazon order to come in with my clothes pins and string, so I can hang my September Words on the wall!  I was soooo exciting to find that cart at Big Lots!!!  It will hold different kinds of paper for the kiddos!

I did a lot of work yesterday!  The custodians were very impressed! :)  Can't wait to get some more done next week!

Ready to set up!

Well, I am back from a week and a half vacation and ready to get started in my classroom.  As many people have said in passing by, I have a HUGE undertaking ahead of me!  I am trying to get in any extra time I can get besides the two days a week that my kiddos are at school.  Here are some pictures of things I have started getting ready.  I can't wait to post pictures of my whole room!!!

These are my new mailboxes!  I got the clips idea from "Teaching With Love and Laughter" on Pinterest.  LOVE LOVE!!!

This is a cabinet I got from my mom that fits buckets from Lakeshore in it.  I gave it a little facelift with my polka dot theme :)

The stove in my Housekeeping area didn't look like a stove anymore.  Oh what a Sharpie pen will do for a kids stove top!

Love that I am in Kindergarten this year...I can bring my kids and actually get stuff done!!  They love all of the new stuff they get to play with!  Only problem is, I have to put everything back that they take out!

Hope to get a lot more done tomorrow!

All moved out!!

My new room is ready to be cleaned!  The custodians are going to clean the rug while I go on a wonderful vacation with my family and friends!  I can't wait to make it all my own when I come back :)  I have so many ideas running through my head!
